Tikkun means healing. In Judaism man has two tasks in life: tikkun nefesh, the healing of the soul, and tikkun olam, the healing of the world. What we don't develop in ourselves we cannot contribute to the world. Inner work is necessary to feed our work in the world. I am working on this by:
